New York State Police Blotter – Mar. 6, 2025
3/6/25 12 p.m.- On October 31, 2023, state police
investigated an alleged sex offense in the town of Allegany. As a result, on
Thursday, troopers arrested Jacob J. Tarr, 30, of Roulette, PA. He was charged
with felony first-degree sexual abuse with forcible compulsion. He was
detained.
3/6/25 6:20 p.m.- After being dispatched to an alleged sexual offense in the Town of Burns, state police arrested Adam P. Hess, 28, of Canaseraga. He was charged with felony first-degree rape involving a victim under the age of 13, felony first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child under the age of 11, felony attempted first-degree rape of a child, two counts of felony third-degree sexual abuse involving a child less than 13, felony first-degree sexual abuse of a pre-teen child, three counts of forcible touching intimate parts and child endangerment. He was taken to the Allegany County Jail to await arraignment.
UPDATE: The Sheriff's Office Friday confirmed that Hess was arraigned and returned to the Allegany County Jail and bail was denied.
In a separate case from February in the Town of Grove,
troopers again arrested Adam P. Hess, 28, of Canaseraga. He was charged with
felony counts of course of sexual conduct for two or more acts involving a
child under 11, first-degree rape involving a young child and aggravated sexual
abuse. He was additionally charged with forcible touching.
3/6/25 9:42 a.m.- After investigating a domestic
disturbance in Wellsville, state police arrested Chad M. Mulholland, 54, of
Wellsville. He was charged with criminal contempt and two counts of criminal
possession of a controlled substance. He jailed pending arraignment.
