Allegany County Undersheriff Walter Mackney reports:
On 03/07/2025 Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office arrested MICHAEL A. OSBY, AGE 39, OF 106 North 10th Street Olean, NY on charges of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident which occurred on 08/30/2024 at the Allegany County Jail when OSBY was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine. OSBY was arraigned in CAP on 03/08/2025 and remains in custody at the Allegany County Jail.
On 03/07/2025 Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office arrested JONATHAN O’SHELL, age 38, of 1720 Meservey Hill Rd. Wellsville, NY for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st Degree (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree (Class D Felony). The charges stem from an incident which occurred 03/07/2025 at the Allegany County Jail in which O’SHELL was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected suboxone with intent to sell the same. O’SHELL was arraigned in CAP on 03/08/2025 and remains in custody at the Allegany County jail.
