Louise E. KEMP, 91, of Charleston, WV, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in English Meadows, Scott Depot, WV. Born April 11, 1932, in Potter Brook, PA, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Lottie V. Thompson Abbott. On July 19, 1952, in Potter Brook, PA, she married Shirland D. Kemp, who predeceased her on April 21, 2022. A graduate of Westfield High School and Hornell Business School, she was employed by Sylvania, Galeton Production, Valley Grove Elementary School Library, and P.S.I. in Georgia. Louise was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Fayetteville, GA and Elk River Nazarene Church, Charleston, WV. Surviving are: two children, Kandace (Ronald) DeVincentis of Norcross, GA and Kenneth (Diana) Kemp of Charleston, WV; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen (William) Seagers of Bradenton, FL; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Lela M. Williams. Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA.
