Bruce Anthony (Brice) McGinley Hirst, 57, of Pensacola, FL passed away January 16, 2024 after a chronic illness.
He was born in Olean, NY to John and Kathleen (McGinley) Hirst. Brice enjoyed nature, hiking, and the ocean. He had many memorable adventures while living in Florida, Tennessee, and Hawaii. His greatest loves were his Mom, his triplet nieces that he helped raise, and his dogs. As an adult, Brice made many lifelong friends in his travels.
Brice was predeceased by his infant brother Brad Hirst, his Grandparents Lila and Mark Boyd, Jane and Donald Hirst, Stepmother Marjie Hirst, Aunts Judy Wakefield and Linda (Soupy) Kendzior, Uncle Robert Hirst, cousin John Kendzior, and his pups Maddie, Zeke, Kahanna, Deliah, and Mickey.
Brice is survived by his parents Kathleen Hirst, John Hirst, and beloved stepfather Jeff Tingley, of Olean, NY, including the Tingley family step-siblings, brother Brian (Jenn) Hirst, his beloved nieces Lila, Ava, and Keira Hirst of Ponte Vedra, FL, Aunt Pamela (Brent) Rohrabacher of Rochester, NY, Uncles Rick (Laurie) Boyd of Hamburg, NY, Markie (Tracey) Boyd of Friendship, NY, Jim (Dixie) Hirst of Spring, TX, numerous cousins, and special friends and neighbors.
An Oceanside memorial will be announced at a later date.
