At approximately 1:39 p.m. Sunday Bolivar Fire Department and Richburg fire was dispatched to a possible structure fire on south Main Street in the village. At approximately 2 minutes after tone out Bolivar Chief was on scene and declared a working fire. Approximately 4 minutes after first tone Bolivar 1 with a crew of 5 responded mutual aid was requested from Allentown Volunteer Fire Company Inc. Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc Shinglehouse and Weston mills for a fast team. And Allegany fire Department for there tower department operated on scene for approximately 5 hours as they battled the blaze and obstacles as the wind and older house was not helping.
