Appeals court rules against Bolivar woman
A state appeals court has rejected a claim to challenge her
conviction on drug sales charges. Cindi E. Music of Bolivar, who was 43 at the
time of her arrest, was charged with criminally negligent homicide and criminal
sale of a controlled substance. The charges stem from a deadly drug overdose.
In a very brief ruling, the court said “Appeal from a judgment of the
Allegany County Court (Terrence M. Parker, J.), rendered July 5, 2022. The
judgment convicted defendant, upon a guilty plea, of attempted criminal sale of
a controlled substance in the third degree.
It is hereby ORDERED that the judgment so appealed from
is unanimously affirmed.”
State records show Music is an inmate at the Albion
Correctional Facility, serving a four-year prison sentence. She is eligible
for a parole hearing in February 2025.
