Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Amanda E.
Dalrymple, 29 of Warsaw, following a shoplifting complaint at the Warsaw
Wal-Mart Store. Dalrymple was alleged to
have entered the store, concealed multiple health and body items into her
backpack, and the left the store without paying for the items. The total value of stolen items was
$36.38. Dalrymple was interviewed at her
residence where some of the stolen property was recovered. Dalrymple was arrested and charged with Petit
Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.
The report of a person with a knife in an altercation in the
Town of Arcade led to the arrest of two individuals. Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies along with
New York State Police and Arcade Police Department responded to the Arcade
Valley Estates in the Town of Arcade following the reported incident. Following investigation, it was alleged that
Stephen J. Verstreate, a three-time convicted felon, had pulled a knife and
threatened to use it against a victim while in the presence of his three
children. Lacritia K. Verstreate was
also alleged to have been involved in pushing during the incident, and there
was an order of protection prohibiting her from being near Stephen J.
Verstreate. Both were arrested and
charged as follows:

THE FOURTH DEGREE, MENACING IN THE SECOND DEGREE, ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A

IN THE SECOND DEGREE, ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD
Both perpetrators were arraigned virtually through Warsaw
Court as a part of the Central Arraignment Part. Stephen J. Verstreate was held without bail
due to his current felony charge and having more than one prior felony
conviction. Lacritia K. Verstreate was
held in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail, $10,000.00 bond, or $20,000.00 partially
secured bond. Both were scheduled for
further court proceedings in Wyoming County Court on September 24, 2020. Following arraignment, both were held in the
Wyoming County Jail to await their future court date.
