Allegany County positive COVID-19 cases continue to rise

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 6.97 million people, and there have been over 202,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 452,847 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,439 deaths statewide. As of 2:00 p.m. on September 24, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Recovered Cases: 97

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 1,488

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 1,332

Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 156
