A man reportedly sustained "multi-systems trauma" when a motorcycle and vehicle collided late Saturday morning. It happened along State Route 417 near McDonald's in Wellsville. According to numerous reports, the cyclist was unresponsive and suffered potentially multiple fractures as well as other significant injuries. Mercy Flight, already in the general area, touched down at the Loder Street Landing Zone. The male victim was flown to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. A State Police Investigator was called to the scene based upon the seriousness of the injuries. The operator of the other vehicle was evaluated at the scene, but was not taken to a hospital.
