On April 13th, 2025, at approximately 10:30 AM, following a
joint investigation by the Cuba Police Department and New York State Department
of Environmental Conservation, Robert K. Amundson (72) of Cuba, NY was charged
by the DEC. Amundson was arrested on charges of unlawful open burning during a
burn ban (Misdemeanor). Amundson was processed and released to appear at a
later date. Amundson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of
law. The Cuba Police Department would like to remind residents of the active
burn ban in effect until May 14th.

On April 8th, 2025, at approximately 4:00PM, Cuba Police
arrested Lindsay M. Gardner (27) of Olean, NY. Gardner was arrested on charges
of harassment 2nd (Violation) and endangering the welfare of a child
(Misdemeanor). Gardner was processed and released to appear at a later date.
Gardner is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
