New York State Police Blotter – April 24, 2025
4/24/25 3:35 p.m. – After responding to a welfare
check in the town of Wellsville, state police arrested Jacqueline A. Sweet, 58,
of Wellsville. She was charged with felony first-degree endangering the welfare
on an incompetent or physically disabled person. She was transported to the
Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
4/24/25 4:30 p.m.- State police were called to a
neighborhood disturbance in the village of Canaseraga. Several hours later,
troopers arrested Dylan M. Lowery, 27, of Canaseraga. He was charged with third-degree
stalking, causing a person to fear injury, sex offense, kidnapping or death. He
was taken to the Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
4/25/25 1:34 a.m.- After investigating a complaint in
the town of Wellsville, state police arrested Derek W. Tyler-Lockwood, 35, of
Cuba. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a stolen motor vehicle,
two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use
of a vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. A court
appearance is pending.
