New York State Police Blotter – April13, 2025
4/13/25 3:44 p.m.- On March 1st, state
police were called to investigate a domestic-family disturbance in the town of
Almond. On Sunday, troopers arrested Dana Strawser, 38, of Bolivar. He was charged
with two counts of criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying a court order. He
was transported to the Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
4/13/25 6:40 a.m.- After investigating a domestic
dispute, state police arrested Kyle M. Gann, 21, of Cuba. He was charged with
criminal mischief, preventing an emergency call and criminal possession of a
controlled substance. He was taken to the county jail for Central arraignment.
4/13/25 12:04 p.m.- State police were called to a
one-vehicle accident on Bill Allen Hill Road in the town of Alma. After
investigation, troopers arrested Cecil E. Irish, 93, of Wellsville. He was
charged with driving while intoxicated-first offense and having a BAC above .08%.
A court appearance is pending.
4/13/25 11:23 p.m.- State police report the arrest of
Damion N. Merrill, 19, of Friendship. He faces charges to include menacing with
a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. A court
appearance is pending.
