Wellsville 804 is now in service- the fleet is back

The Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps., Inc. is proud to announce members approved the purchase of a 2017 Demers Ambulance to increase our fleet from three ambulances to four. The newest addition was called into service Saturday evening.

In the early days the agency operated four ambulances known as W1, W2, W3, and W4. By adding to our fleet we will be better able to serve our towns in a greater capacity and offer more services to ensure more patients are served.
Back into the day, the ambulance corps used to operate four ambulance (Cadillacs) to begin with, then transitioned to vans and modular style ambulances. There was a period when the ambulance corps scaled back to just three ambulances...but the agency has now restored its four-fleet system.
