Wellsville Police arrested Akeyia E. Thagard, age 31 of Buffalo, charging her with Criminal Contempt 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Broad Street in the Village. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Thagard is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 13th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Rachel E. Simon, age 33 of Wellsville, charging her with DWI, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Speed in Zone and Passed Red Light. The charges stem from a traffic stop on East Dyke Street in the Village. Simon was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. She is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 27th at 4:30 pm. The investigation is pending.
