Angelica to offer Lawn Sales, Vendor Show, BBQ and More
Since the coronavirus pandemic hit in mid-March, Angelica (like everywhere else) has been starved for community activity. The good news is that things are about to get better, at least for one day. Here’s what’s on tap for Saturday, September 12:
COMMUNITY LAWN SALES - Lawn, garage, porch sales all over town. 41st annual event, originally scheduled for mid-May. Maps of sale locations available in local shops.
FARMERS’ MARKET - Park Circle, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Fresh produce & other market products. Live music in the bandstand. Yard sale space available in the park as well.
CRAFT & VENDOR SHOW - Fire Hall, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Basket auction. Local craft & direct sales vendors. Gun raffle. Lunch special & more. Benefit Angelica Hose Co. No. 1.
CHICKEN BBQ - Methodist Church, 12 Noon - ?? Stearns chicken & all the fixings. Adults $10, Kids under 12, $6.
ROQUE TOURNAMENT - Historic croquet court in the park will host semifinals on Saturday, with championship match set for Sunday.
