The cost for the camp is still $100 for the week and the price includes lunch each day and a t-shirt. There are special group and family rates.
The camp stresses hitting as well as pitching, catching and fielding.
Each day, campers learn different aspects of the game, including stealing, sliding, base running, bunting, glove selection, outfield play, cut offs, double plays, run downs, double plays and game situations. Each day, campers participate in an afternoon game. Other activities are held as well as the objective is to stay active and have fun.
The Head Camp Coach is Dennis Miles, the Wellsville Varsity Baseball Coach who has the Section V record for wins with 718 victories along with 12 Section V titles. Miles played college baseball and soccer at Brockport State and has taught hitting, pitching and fielding at baseball camps all over the country.
