Lucille M. Kyser:
Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Daughter
Lucille M. Kyser, 75, of 8833 County Road 40, Clarksville,
passed away May 31, 2018 at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born
on July 11, 1942, in Cuba, New York she was a daughter of Martin and Lorraine
Case Butts.
Lucille was a graduate of Richburg Central Schools Class of
1960.
She was employed for over 30 years at the Olean Times
Herald, then went to work for AVX in Olean for Eight years at which time she
retired.
Lucille was a lifetime member of the West Clarksville
Baptist Church where she served as secretary for many years and taught Sunday school.
Spending time with her family and loving her grandchildren
were some of her greatest joys in life.
Surviving are her mother, Lorraine Butts of Cuba; a son Dennis
(Ada) Kyser of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter Denise (Joseph) Harenda of Rock
Hill, SC; 10 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Marvin (Donna)
Butts of Allentown, NY and Morey
(Michelle) Butts of Clarksville; 3 sisters, Lois Arnold of Clarksville, Lene
(Bruce) Jones of Richburg and Luanne
(Martin) Smith of Cuba. She was a second mother to Robert Anastasia of Olean
and Tammy Wallace of West Palm Beach, FL.
In addition to her father she was predeceased by a brother
Marty Butts, and two sisters Lousie Wilcox and Lynn Austin.
The family will receive friends at the West Clarksville
Baptist Church, 9003 Daggett Hollow Rd, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:00
a.m. until Noon at which time a Memorial Service will be held. The Rev. Wayne Hart will officiate. Burial
was in Clarksville Cemetery, Town of Clarksville, New York. Memorials in
Lucille’s name may be made to the West Clarksville Baptist Church, 9003 Daggett
Hollow Road, Bolivar, NY 14715.
