The ACAF Dollars for Scholars Program is Set to Award $297,300

Pramod Rao
The Allegany County Area Foundation will hold its annual Dollars for Scholars Awards Program on Sunday, May 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cuba-Rushford Middle/High School. This program is open to the public.

This year the Foundation will award $296,300 to 156 recipients from across Allegany County. With these awards this will put their total amount of scholarship and grant awards at $3,208,627 since 1989. This is an amazing amount of money raised for Allegany County citizens. Since 1989 over 2,000 students have received scholarships from the ACAF Dollars for Scholars Program.  We thank all of our donors who have made this possible!
Pramod Rao will be the guest speaker at the 2018 ACAF Dollars for Scholars Program.  He is a 2013 graduate of Alfred-Almond High School.  Pramod is currently attending SUNY University at Buffalo.  When he finishes his studies he plans to become a doctor here in Western New York.
