BELFAST - Michael E."Pickle" Sullivan II, 54, of 93 South Main St. passed away Saturday April 28, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, following a lengthy illness. Born June 12, 1963 in Cuba, he was the son of Michael E. Sullivan Sr and Mary E. McCumiskey.
Pickle was a 1981 graduate of Belfast Central School. For several years he was a home health care worker for Cattaraugus Co. working in the Jamestown and Olean areas. He also was very interested in antiques and helped in the Belfast antiques stores. He was a true Catholic at heart and had attended St. Patrick's Church in Belfast. He had been an altar boy there also.Surviving are his mother, Mary E. McCumiskey of Belfast; his father, Michael E. (Georgette) Sullivan Sr. of Sodus, NY; two sisters, Kathleen (Henry) Malota of Oramel and Angela Goldsmith of Belmont; and several nieces and nephews.Michael was predeceased by a brother, Robert.Michael has requested that his body be donated to science so that future doctors can learn ways to cure all kinds diseases that will occur in human beings.
All are welcome to attend a memorial service which will be held in St Patrick's Church, Belfast on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Mancuso, Pastor will be celebrant and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Belfast.
