Obituary: William A. "Bill" Edwards, 69, Angelica

Angelica - William A. “Bill” Edwards, age 69, of the Homer Road passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell. He was born on July 28, 1948 in Bradford Pennsylvania to Wayne and Agnes Cornelius Edwards. On November 17, 2001 in Willing he married Marilyn Skillman who survives.
Bill graduated from Limestone High School in 1967. After graduation he entered the US Army and served in Korea and in Vietnam until being discharged in 1970. He settled in the Denver Colorado area where he worked for several companies including the Timpte Corporation, and had also worked as a maintenance supervisor. In 2002 he was working in Rochester for the Farash Company maintaining their apartment complexes. In 2013 he and Marilyn made their home in Angelica. Bill had been a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and had attended Bible Study at The Way Ministry in Wellsville and Rochester. He loved to fish and enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting and computer programming.
Survivors include: his wife; step daughters, Amanda [Chad] Sibble of Wellsville, and Samantha McGee of Greenhurst; 4 step grandchildren; a sister, Betty [Hugo] Edwards-Sanchez of Houston, Texas; a brother, Carl [Criss] Edwards of Limestone; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation and friends are invited to attend a grave side service with military honors on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the McKean Memorial Park in Bradford, Pennsylvania.
