Wellsville woman arrested for felony drug crimes


Wellsville Police Monday arrested Billie G. Wlasniewski, age 40 of Wellsville, charging her with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and Conspiracy 4th (Class E Felony).  The charges stem from the alleged sale of illegal drugs in the Village of Wellsville in April of 2016.  Wlasniewski was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th for allegedly being in possession of a Controlled Substance when she was taken into custody on West State Street in the Village.  Wlasniewski was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Wlasniewski was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $20,000.00 cash bail or $40,000.00 property bond.  Wlasniewski is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (C-NET).
