She loved spending time with her family and caring for
children throughout the years, especially her nieces and nephews. Holiday gatherings were something she always
looked forward to. Attending local
fairs, crocheting, coloring, and word searches were just a few things she
enjoyed doing. Surviving are two sisters,
Stella DeFio of Syracuse and Shirley Kimber of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Robert Schneider. A
Mass celebrating the life of Virginia will be held at the convenience of the
family at a later date. Burial will be
in Pine Planes Cemetery, Manlius. Memorials remembering Virginia may be made to
the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 140 West Main St., Cuba, New
York 14727. Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home
& Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.

Obituary: Virginia M. Schneider, 76, formerly of Rushford
Virginia M. Schneider, 76, formerly of Rushford, New York,
passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy
illness. Born on September 7, 1940, in Syracuse she was a daughter of Robert
and Alice Litchson Schneider. Virginia was employed for many years by the ARC
in Wellsville prior to her retirement.
She attended the Rushford Baptist Church and later attended Church
Services with the residents at Cuba Memorial Hospitals Nursing Home where she
had resided for the last three years.
