Bolivar resident gets jail time in protection order case

A Bolivar resident will serve some time in the Allegany County Jail for violating an order of protection. On Monday, 30-year-old Dana Strawser of Evans Avenue in Bolivar was sentenced to 60 days of weekend jail time, three years probation, a new three years order of protection, plus fee's. According to prosecutors, On December 16, 2016, Strawser violated a court order and also damaged personal property. Strawser was indicted on two felony counts, but later pleaded guilty to criminal contempt 2nd.
