Valerie S. Hurlburt, 46, of Genesee, PA, died Friday, March
17, 2017 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. Born October 15, 1970, in Coudersport, she
was the daughter of Frank Arthur and Margie R. Bush Langan. On February 13, 2002, in Ulysses, PA, he married
John L. Hurlburt, who survives.
Surviving besides her husband, John, are: three sons, Dakota Hurlburt of Troy, PA,
Nathan Hurlburt and A.J. Hurlburt, both of Genesee; three brothers, Frank (Nancy) Langan of
Shinglehouse, PA, Todd (Brenda Lee) Langan of Genesee, and Clyde (Maggie)
Langan of Wellsville, NY; four sisters,
Sharon (Richard) Sharp of Ulysses, Debra (Clarence) Swank of Emporium, Brenda
(Pete) Miles of Coudersport, and Tina (Rodney) Outman of Whitesville, NY; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Friends may gather at the Genesee Fire Hall
on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A
dish to pass may be taken for a luncheon at 1:00 p.m. if desired. A brief service will be held by Rev. Dennis
Munro at 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made
