Campobello, SC --- Barbara Ann Klein Nichols of Campobello,
SC, and a former resident of Fillmore passed away on March 12, 2017 in her
home. She was born on March 31, 1951, a
daughter of the late Joseph J. and Georgia Anna Howard Klein. On August 14, 1971
in St. Patrick’s Church in Belfast she married Robert C. Nichols who survives.
She was a member of Campobello United Methodist Church and
was a former Owner of The Dugout, a waitress and a Fillmore Central School
cafeteria employee. She loved to cook
and garden but most of all spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are their children Erin
(Amber) Nichols of Plato, Missouri, Michele (Mike) Palmer of Hornell, four
grandchildren, Ryan and Alec Nichols, Cannon and McKinley Palmer, two brothers,
Dale Joseph Klein of Port Townsend, WA, Dean August (Nancy) Klein of Rochester
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister
Joann Klein Jewel.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee
Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Bruce
Smith, pastor of the Higgins Wesleyan Church, will officiate.
