Democrats Donate to Food Pantries in
Fillmore and Centerville
Belmont, NY – The Allegany County
Democrats collected multiple bags/boxes
of non-perishable food and personal care items when they met recently in Centerville.
The goods were donated to the Fillmore Community Food Pantry and to the Town of
Centerville Food Pantry. This service project is one of the ways the Democratic
Committee lives its motto: “Serving our Community.”
“The Pantry is a vital mission in our community”
states Sharon Smith, Coordinator for the Fillmore Community Food Pantry,
“allowing us to serve local families with dignity and respect.” The Fillmore Community Food Pantry is located at 25 Minard
St. and is open the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 2:00 p.m. to
5:15 p.m. Call 585-567-2293

According
to Barbara Covert, Centerville Town Clerk, “We keep a box out front and
replenish it as needed. Our address is 8902 County Road 3 (Highway Barns).” Call 585-567-8424 for more information.
The next “Coffee with
Democrats” will take place on Sat. July 20th during Wellsville’s Main
