News release from Medical Transport Service (MTS):
Medical Transport Service, Inc assisted Amity Rescue Squad this morning (Tuesday) for a traumatic fall at the Allegany County Courthouse. MTS units arrived on scene within 2 minutes of the initial call and provided Advanced Life Support. Amity Rescue and MTS ALS transported the patient to Jones Memorial Hospital (in Wellsville). Medical Helicopters were unavailable at the time of the incident. Thank you to our partners at the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department and 911 center, as well as the Medical Staff at Jones Memorial Hospital.
(The patient was flown to a regional trauma center).
