3/1/24 11:16 a.m.- State Police arrested Daniel D.
Wood, 56, of Nunda. He was charged with issuing a bad check stemming from an
incident in the Town of Wellsville on July 17, 2023. He was initially detained.
2/3/24 9:59 a.m.- After investigating an incident in
Wellsville, state police arrested David A. Dean, 55, of Alma. He was charged
with felony second-degree assault involving a victim age 65 or older. Dean was
released on his own recognizance.
3/2/24 4:16 a.m.- During a stop in the Town of
Wellsville, Amity-based troopers arrested Derek J. Hodgkins, 38, of Wellsville.
He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated
and having a BAC at or above .08%. He was released to a third party.
3/1/24 8:45 p.m.- Following an investigation in the
Town of Allegany, state police arrested Shana M. Shimmel, 43, of Friendship on
a charge of petit larceny. Shimmel was released on a court appearance ticket.
3/1/24 3:12 p.m.- After investigating a hit and run
accident in Erwin, state police arrested Lee E. Donley, 45 of Addison. Donley
was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and reckless endangerment to
property. Donley was released to appear in court at a later date.
