Kathy L. Mesler: Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Kathy L. Mesler, 63, of 7934 Rte. 417W., Bolivar, passed
away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Sisters Hospital, Buffalo, after a courageous
battle with cancer.
Born on August 4, 1960, in Wellsville, she was a daughter of
Kenneth M. and Margaret Nolan Gilliland.
On June 6, 1981, in Obi, she married Michael M. Mesler who survives.
Kathy had worked for AVX and AMC in Olean until they
closed. She then worked for Northern
Lights in Wellsville until her retirement due to illness.
She loved snowmobiling, camping, and UTV riding. Kathy enjoyed crafting and going to antique
stores. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Kathy was always
up for an adventure.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael
M. (Heather) Mesler, Jr. of Bolivar and Scott (Lyndsey) Mesler of Little
Genesee; three grandchildren Michael M. Mesler III, Aleyah Mesler and Brentley
Mesler; Two brothers Kenneth (Judy) Gilliland of Bolivar and Michael Gilliland of
Hinsdale; two sisters Rosemary Mesler of Bolivarand her twin sister Karen
(Dave) Empson of Scio; Several Nieces and Nephews, including two special nieces
Tara and Casey, whom Kathy spent a lot of time with.
Kathy leaves behind her beloved boxer, Gabby.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son
Jason Mesler, a nephew Kenneth Gilliland III, and a brother-in-law Daniel
Mesler.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the
family.

Steuben, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties 432 Canisteo Street
Hornell, NY 14843.
