New York State Police Blotter
3/10/24 7:47 p.m.- After investigating a complaint in
Clarksville, Amity-based state police arrested Walter J. Rix, 32, of
Friendship. He was charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon,
obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of a weapon
with intent to use. He was initially detained but the sheriff’s office said he
was not committed to their facility. Court action is pending.
