Cuba Police arrest man for felony drug crimes - jailed without bail

On March 21st, 2024, at approximately 9:00PM, following an investigation by the Cuba Police Department Narcotics Unit, Cuba Police arrested Joseph A. Passmore (37) of Mount Morris, NY. Passmore was arrested after a Grand Jury issued an indictment warrant on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th (2 Counts, Felonies) and criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th (2 Counts, Felonies). Passmore was processed, placed in front of a judge and sent to the Allegany County Jail on no bail. Passmore is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. These charges stem from the alleged sale of methamphetamine in the Town and Village of Cuba. The CPD Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office.
