It’s close to the end of the line for the Olean Area Transit
System (OATS). After close to 40 years of operation, the public transport service
will end its operation in the city, Salamanca and Cuba. The last day of service
will be May 31, 2024. City officials said a nearly 30% cost hike led to the
decision.
