Wellsville Police arrested Andrew S. Jeffers, age 30 of Ulysses, PA, charging him with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (Class A Misdemeanor), Criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd (Class A Misdemeanor) and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street in February of 2021. Jeffers was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Jeffers was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 7th at 4:30 pm.
Wellsville Police,
acting on a Bench Warrant from the City of Hornell Court, arrested John H.
Finch Jr, age 33 of Wellsville, for failure to appear in Court on a previous
Petit Larceny Charge. Finch was turned
over to the City of Hornell Police Department.
Finch is due to appear in Court at a later date.
Wellsville Police
arrested Alexander W. Cavanaugh, age 27 of Friendship, on a Probation Violation
Warrant. Cavanaugh was processed and
arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thomson. Cavanaugh pled guilty to the Probation
Violation and was sentenced to 179 days in the Allegany County Jail.
