An overnight fire damaged a home at the intersection of County Road 34 and Blaine Road in the Town of Wirt. The alarm sounded just before midnight and brought out crews and equipment from Richburg, Bolivar, Allentown, Friendship and Clarksville. A power company also responded to the scene. The cause is under investigation.
