Debbie was a graduate of Fillmore School and was a
hardworking lady that would lend a hand whenever she could. She worked at
Robeson in Castile, Prestolite in Arcade and for over 20 years at CPAC in Leicester.
Her current job was at Perry School where she was loved by those whose lives
she touched.
She loved to work with kids, antiques, yard sales, swap
meets and the outdoors, but what she really loved most was spending time with
family at “The Pond”.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, her children,
Jamie Ruda of Perry and Jason (Tracey Smith) Stones of Portageville, her
beloved grandchildren Devin Ruda and Maverick Stones, her brother Terry (Wendy)
Hodnett of Portageville, sister Lori Gibney of Belfast, sister in laws Robin
(Doug) Bull of Perry, Terry (Mark) Sweet of Portageville, Tammy (John) Scaccia
of Perry, her brothers-in-law, Jeff (Michelle) Bowles of Castile, Bobby Holley
of Wyoming, her mother-in-law, Mary (Bob Wellman) Bowles, her father-in-law,
David (Shelley) Wood of Wyoming and many nieces and nephews that she loved so
much.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no public viewing. A private
service will be held at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street,
Fillmore and public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial
will be in East Koy Cemetery, East Koy.
