Obituary: Shirley G. Brundage, 87, Friendship

Friendship - Shirley G. Brundage, 87, of 4052 Times Square (Nile) passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2020 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility following a lengthy illness.

Born on February 14, 1933 in Richburg she was the daughter of Harry M. and Elga Paul Hardman.

Shirley married Cleo Brundage on March 22, 1951 in Richburg.  Mr. Brundage preceded her in death on November 9, 2013. Shirley was a waitress at the former Double u Truck Stop Ceres.

She was a member of the Richburg First Day Baptist Church, Friendship Fire Dept. Aux for over sixty years, and Allegany Co. Fireman’s Aux for over fifty years, Volunteered with Friendship Fireman’s Aux at the Bingo Hall, former member of the Olean Motorcycle Club, former member of the Friendship snow mobile club. Surviving are one Daughter Patricia (David) Carney Bolivar. Two Grandchildren, Lyn (Brad) Davis Bolivar, Chad (Liz Cuneo) Carney Bolivar. Three Great-Grandchildren Austin Davis, Nicholas Davis, Madison Carney. Twin Sister Norma Oliver) Amesbury Macedon N.Y. Preceded in death by a brother Harry P. Hardman on September 20, 2020.

Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Saturday December 26, 2020 from 11 A.M. - 1P.M. Private family Funeral Services will follow visitation. Pastor George Sweat of the Gneisses Bible Church Scio Officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship N.Y.
