Sheila loved being a wife, mom, sister, and grandmother, but she also was a loving aunt, great-aunt, friend, cousin, and neighbor. Loved by many, words to describe her include compassionate, caring, easy-going, and fun! She spent her life dedicated to her community and caring deeply for her family and friends. Sheila loved to visit and took time to reach out and check in on friends. A willing babysitter, she lit up anytime there were little ones around. Sheila had an open-door policy to anyone needing a place to stay or something to eat. While she loved to joke around and laugh, she was always there for friends in hard times, too. She enjoyed finding new recipes and making goodies. Her homemade donuts, caramel popcorn, Christmas cookies, and strawberry jam were favorites of family and friends for years. Her signature donuts were a Memorial Day and Halloween tradition in Whitesville.
