Wellsville Central has joined the growing list of schools in Allegany County that have moved to all virtual learning. The change will remain in effect until January 4th. As of Friday, a total of 8 students in the Secondary school and one student in the Elementary school had tested positive. A total of three staffers also tested positive. Friendship, Andover and Genesee Valley are also operating virtually. Meanwhile, according to a post from Canaseraga Central on Facebook, officials learned Sunday a student tested positive for COVID-19. The contact tracing has been completed and parents of impacted students and staff members for quarantine have been contacted.
