In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected
approximately 16.6 million people, and there have been over 302,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of
Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 794,557 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there
have been 28,002 deaths statewide. As of
3:35 p.m. on December 15, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:
