Alfred Station man charged with felony sex crimes involving child

Wayland-based State Police arrested an Alfred Station man for alleged child sex crimes. Troopers said they took 39-year-old David E. Thomas into custody. He was charged with two counts of course of sexual conduct against a child. Police said the victim was under the age of 11. Thomas was detained for court action. No additional information on the arrest was immediately available. The Steuben County Jail said Thomas was detained on no bail. They would not say when his next court appearance is.
