Obituary: Kenneth T. Baldwin, 90, Olean - Wellsville native

OLEAN - Kenneth T. Baldwin, of 125 N. Seventh St., Olean, passed away Friday (April 6. 2018) at Cuba Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, after a brief illness.
Born April 15, 1927, in Wellsville, he was the son of William and Margaret Padden Baldwin. On Feb. 26, 1949, he married Irma E. Young, who predeceased him on Dec. 14, 2009.
Mr. Baldwin attended Wellsville High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific.
He later worked at Dresser Rand Industries, retiring in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth L. (Kathy) Baldwin and Gary W. (Patty) Baldwin, both of Olean, and Michael A. Baldwin of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Debra K. Baldwin of Palm Harbor, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Booth; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Darlene Preston; three brothers, John, Michael(William) and Patrick; and three sisters, Sally Rasmosson, Teresa Crandall and Rosemary Guineau.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday (April 9, 2018) at Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, at which time funeral services will begin. The Very Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery at a later date.
