The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at
Wayland announces the arrest of a Rexville man. State Police Investigator Mark
J. Villone said Gregory O. Anthony, age 53, of County Route 124 was taken into
custody in conjunction with falsely reporting incidents which allegedly did not
occur, including but not limited to the report of several missing teens from
the Richburg area of Allegany County, N.Y.
Specifically, investigation into Anthony’s allegation of several missing
teens from the Richburg area "was determined to be baseless," said Investigator Villone. Anthony was charged with Falsely Reporting an
Incident, 3rd degree (class “A” misdemeanor), and issued an Appearance Ticket
returnable in the town of West Union Court on April 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
