Obituary: Philip L. Bennett, 55, Ulysses - Wellsville native

Philip L. Bennett, 55, of Ulysses, PA, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.  Born July 30, 1962, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Ronald G. and Judy A. Hosley Bennett.  A 1980 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he studied at Penn State, Mansfield University, and Alfred University.  Surviving are:  his father, Ronald, of Ulysses;  two brothers, Michael (Sandy) Bennett and Marc (Cindy) Bennett, both of Ulysses;  four nieces, Angie (Michael) Colton, Rachel (Aaron) Goldsmith, Taryn (Joey Boden) Bennett, and Katlyn Bennett;  a grandniece, Carmella Colton;  four grandnephews, Elliot Colton, Austin Goldsmith, Jackson Goldsmith, and Grant Goldsmith;  special aunt, Patricia (Ronald) Lias;  aunt, Joyce (Lyle) Van Etten;  and many cousins, including special cousin, Billie Jo Lias.  He was predeceased by his mother on April 22, 2014.  Services will be private.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Ulysses Library, P.O.
