Threat of planned school shooting at Olean school leads to arrest of student

Olean Police Criminal Investigators arrested a 15-year-old boy today at approximately 10:00 a.m. for charges of making a terroristic threat, a D-level felony and falsely reporting an incident 3rd degree, a class A Misdemeanor. According to police Captain Robert Blovsky, high shool officials were notified of writing left on a bathroom wall that indicated a shooting would happen on Monday, March 26th. Olean Police were notified and conducted interviews and a student allegedly eventually confessed to leaving the writing on the wall. The juvenile was processed and turned over to a parent and is to appear in Family court at a later date.
