Bonaventure; Adams, Mobley Named To NABC All-District Team

Adding to their list of post-season accolades, St. Bonaventure seniors Jaylen Adams and Matt Mobley have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2017-18 Division I All-District 4 first team.

The All-District teams are selected by Division I member coaches of the NABC. The District 4 team is comprised of players from the Atlantic 10 Conference. Rhode Island's Jarred Terrell, Davidson's Peyton Aldridge and Justin Tillman of VCU join Adams and Mobley on the District 4 first team.

Adams and Mobley led St. Bonaventure to a 26-8 record, an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament and a second place finish in the Atlantic 10. The Bonnies' 26 wins set the school record and their win over UCLA in the First Four was the program's first NCAA victory since 1970.
Adams, who earned his second straight All-District honor from the NABC, was the Co-Player of the Year in the A-10 with Aldridge. Adams was the fourth-leading scorer in the Atlantic 10 Conference at 19.1 points per game. The Baltimore, Md., native also ranked third in the A-10 in assists (5.2 per game) and in three-point field goal percentage (.436). Adams' season included two games of 40-plus points with 40 at Duquesne and a career high 44 against Saint Louis, a game in which he set a school record with 10 three-pointers.
Over his career, Adams was a three-time, first team All-Conference selection. He is the top scoring guard in school history with 1,912 points.
For the second year, Mobley teamed with Adams to give the Bonnies one of the top backcourts in the country. Mobley was the sixth-leading scorer in the Atlantic 10 at 18.1 points per game. He had 15 games with 20 points or more including three 30-point games. Mobley set a program record with 105 three-pointers. The Worcester, Mass., native also averaged 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Over his two seasons with the Bonnies, Mobley scored 1,209 points. Mobley was named to the All-Conference first team this year and the third team as a junior.
