State Route I-86, Exit 36 EB Connector Ramp to I-390 N

The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that the Exit 36 connector ramp from I-86 eastbound to I-390 north in the Town of Bath will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, July 18-19, 2017 for paving.
Work on July 18^th & 19^th will begin around 7:00 a.m. and should last the remainder of each day. While the work is taking place on July 18^th & 19^th the ramp will be closed with variable message boards directing traffic to use Exit 37.  Work may be extended if weather becomes an issue.
It is imperative that motorists remember to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter this season.

 Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
