Potter County: Dingman Run Road Improvements Will Require Daylight Closure and Detour

Coudersport, PA –   The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) issues the following correction:

On Monday, July 10, PennDOT will begin a mill and fill roadway improvement project on Dingman Run Road (Route 4007) in Potter County that will require a daylight closure and detour. Work will take place along the roadway outside of Coudersport in Eulalia Township and into Hebron Township.

The closure and detour will be in effect each work day from 6 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The detour will make use of Routes 6, 4005 (Whitney Creek Road/Fishing Creek Road), and 4006 (West Hebron Road/Steer Brook Road).  Residents of Dingman Run Road will be able to access their homes during this work. Emergency vehicles will also be accommodated,
Activity will include roadway milling and fill work to widen and repair the edges of the road. PennDOT Potter County Maintenance will perform the work, with all work weather dependent.
PennDOT expects this work to last through July 21, with work taking place during daylight hours. Drivers are reminded to use caution in all work zones, obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.
