SP Amity - Bolivar man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

On March 12, 2017, Troopers arrested Joel H. Grabow, 28, of Bolivar, NY for Driving While Intoxicated. Troopers responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident on County Road 31 near Gordon Brook Road in the Town of Scio.  Upon arrival they interviewed Grabow who was identified as the operator. The odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected.  Standard Field Sobriety Tests were conducted which Grabow subsequently failed. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to SP Amity for processing where he recorded a 0.16% BAC.  He was released on tickets and is due to appear before the Town of Scio Court on 3/21/17 at 7:00 p.m.
