Larry E. Law: Beloved Husband,
Father, Grandfather
Larry E. Law, 79, of 9363 Bradley Ave., Cuba, passed away
Friday, March 03, 2017 at Cuba Memorial Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit after a
lengthy illness.
Born on April 25, 1937, in Rushford, he was a son of Leon W.
and Mary “Eva” Jones Law. On January 24,
1959, in Lawrenceville, PA, he married the former Joyce Pulver, who
survives.
He was a graduate of Dundee Central School Class of
1955. He lived in Cuba, NY from
1965-1985 when they moved to Dover, PA - Residing there for 25 years and moving
back to Cuba, NY in 2011. During that
time he was employed as a milk truck hauler for Bugman & Sons in Dalton,
NY, then after moving to Pennsylvania he was a tractor trailer driver for
Beverage Transportation in Thomasville, PA and then LebArnold Logistics of Camp
Hill, PA, until he retired in 2004.
He was a member of the Dover Historical Society where he
helped as a Blacksmith in there Black Smith Shop, and also a member of the East
Berlin Historical Preservation Society in East Berlin, NY.
Larry enjoyed woodworking and will be remember as a jack of
all trades who could fix anything.
Surviving in addition to his wife: a son James Law of Cuba; 2 daughters, Tina (Robin Edwards) Zalar of Cuba and Sharon
Law of Rochester; 3 Grandchildren Amber, Kristin, and Jordan and 2 great
grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother
William Law in 1966, and two sisters Elizabeth Sharpe in 1985 and Evelyn
Vaughan in 1991.
The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker
Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Sunday, March
5, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at which time funeral services will be
held. The Rev. Carl O. Holmes, will officiate.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Avoca, New York.
Memorials may be made to an Alzheimer’s Association of the
donor’s choice.
