NY State Police Blotter

3/17/17 10:35pm- During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in Andover, state police arrested Alex R. Piliero, 25 of Canisteo. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC above .08%. Court action is pending.
3/18/17 1:49am- State police arrested Robert Sheehy, 83 of Friendship. He was charged with criminal contempt for allegedly violating an order of protection. Police said the incident occurred in the Town of Scio. He was released on his own recognizance.
3/18/17 12:01am- During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in Allegany, state police arrested Jessica E. Learn, 25 of Allegany. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a breath test. She was processed and released on appearance tickets for court.
3/17/17 11:20pm- State police arrested Michael G. Jones, 54, of Bradford. He was stopped on Route 417 and charged with driving while intoxicated and BAC above .08%. Court action is pending.
3/18/17 2:18am- State police arrested Jennifer M. Barnes, 26 of Ellicottville. She was stopped in Ellicottville and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released to a third party.
3/16/17 1:14pm- State police arrested a name-protection 18-year-old boy from Friendship. The youth was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Court action is pending.
3/17/17 12:30pm- State police arrested Joseph A. Carter, 22 of Canisteo. He was charged with felony grand larceny involving a firearm and felony criminal possession of stolen property. He was held on cash bail.
3/17/17 11:45pm- State police arrested Lewis R. Pierce, 40, of Canisteo. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and controlled substance not in original container. He was issued court tickets.
3/18/17 2:04am- State police arrested Betty Jo Kramer, 47 of Wayland. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and BAC above .08%. She was issued tickets for court.
3/17/17 12:30pm- In a separate case from above, state police arrested Joseph  A. Carter, 22 of Canisteo. He was charged with felony counts of conspiracy, burglary to a dwelling and grand larceny firearm. Troopers also filed those same charges against Christian L. Wakefield, 20 of Hornell. He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon by a felony. This alleged crime occurred in the Town of Canisteo. Moving on to the Town of Hornellsville, Wakefield and Carter were charged with three counts each of felony criminal possession of stolen property-firearms. They were jailed on cash bail.
